Tor Internship Acquired!
Whatayaknow, I actually got the internship!
I'd like to once more give a huge thank you to my mentor Phoul, the Tor Outreachy Co-ordinator Tommy, the Outreachy organisers as well as everyone at the Tor Project for giving me this amazing opportunity, I'm elated that my work has been of value and absolutely cannot wait to begin start working on the tasks at hand!
I've yet to create an entire roadmap for my internship period as there is still a few grey areas which will be tackled along the way. I'm hoping by the end of next week to have something solid, when I do, I'll be sure to post it here.
What will undoubtedly be included however, is the porting and review of all the current documentation and valuable wiki pages to the brand-new community support portal. This will be a big step forward for the Project in terms of wider accessibility - providing an easier to use, less technical reference point for new and casual users. This period may also involve a brush-up of the Tor manual, something else I quite look forward to.
Over the coming months I'll as always continue updating my log with latest documentation changes and additions. I hope that I can bring something positive and comprehensible to the community; if nothing else, that would certainly be the most personally rewarding.
Have a great week, and I'll see the Tor folks this May!
